Meetup, The Final Word.
After a week of asking Meetup to delete the life Drawing Wales group on their platform, (I threatened them with my solicitor, I don’t have one, and within half an hour they acted) they did almost as requested and removed the group. Finally, Life Drawing Wales no longer exists on Meetup. I just couldn’t stomach giving them anymore more money, not because of the cost, but because of the decreasing returns, appalling software and downright rude responses from customer services.
Life Drawing Wales was the leading provider of Life Drawing in the UK on the platform. Being woke to its core, I believe that some at Meetup HQ shadow-banned life Drawing Wales. How else can you explain new membership numbering in the tens from 2020 through to almost 2023 when prior to 2020 the group was thriving and gaining members at an extraordinary rate, six hundred or so each year? And why the shadow ban? Life Drawing Wales was kicking back at the government's Covid 19 lockdown policies. And that was the right thing to do, both then and ongoing, discussing the harms caused by both lockdowns, propaganda and vaccines that affected the health and well-being of Life Drawing Wales members.

About time. Indicative that it took a threat to get you guys to move on this. And you still you didn't do as requested. But, hey ho, that is not surprising.
I received a free period of subscription because it was agreed that your provision of services is dreadful and that your staff dealing with inquiries and complaints are the same. That came to an end and you have still not improved one part of your platform or of your customer service responses.
I'm glad finally to see the back of my relationship with meetup but remind you that I ran this group and brought nearly all members with me to your platform. Your assistance I believe with legitimate complaints and queries ought to have been so much better. But then, you're a bunch of woke cherry pickers and if you had an office in Europe I would have taken court action aginst you for shadow banning my business. Please continue to hide in New York and piss off almost all organisers that pay for exposure on your delinquent and not fit for purpose platform.
