The UK Government Are Grooming Complicit

The UK Government responded to me a few days ago, to an email sent on May 16th, that’s how seriously they take the accusations I have made against both Facebook and Instagram, of child sexual exploitation and grooming.

I have clearly evidenced illegality and along with this evidence I called for action from the UK and Welsh Governments, Nick Clegg the VP of Meta, the South Wales Police, the mainstream and alternative media and to the NSPCC. Apart from my AM taking this on and getting nowhere, the response was tumbleweed…

Here is the final word from the UK Government:

The government takes the issue of child sexual exploitation and abuse very seriously. It is working with law enforcement partners and online companies to ensure that they live up to their responsibilities of preventing their services from being used for criminal activity.

Here is my response:

Such an unacceptable response and given the time it took for you to reply, completely expected. 

Facebook Reels is a hotbed of child abuse and child sexual grooming. I've evidenced this. Crimes are being committed daily. However, you are clear. You will not prosecute the crimes committed and you will not censure Facebook or Instagram. 

You, the government, disgust me in your complacency in these matters and I hold you, complicit in the grooming of children. 

I've done my bit. I've flagged the crimes and given the evidence to you. The minimum you should have done was forced the raising of membership age for these platforms to 18. But you have not and will not. 

Why is that, we must ask. Why indeed...

I have investigated Facebook Reels. I don't post nudity with nipples, vaginas, anus or gyrating teens who most certainly would not be publishable in mainstream media. But Facebook does... I want to know what you will be doing about this matter which is devastating the young, making narcissistic exhibitionists of teenage girls.

TUMBLEWEED in my mind equates to complicity. Why is Meta and their ilk above the law?
