Shadowbanned By Facebook - All Artists Need To Be Angry
Life Drawing Wales has more often than not been shadowbanned by Facebook. Reach for over 7 years has been negligible. But now Facebook has admitted this by notifying us that Life Drawing Wales is restricted.
However, we do follow the ‘rules’, not that those rules apply to everyone as we will prove and have mentioned before. Meta are actively restricting our reach, against their rules, and with no ability to complain and ask for a review, for life drawings. Meta sees life drawings as sexual activity. What follows are the notifications we get from Facebook and then the images, 11 in total, that Facebook have flagged as indecent. Remember, there is no option to ask for a review.
However, Meta does not see video clips posted to Facebook Reels that contain actual nipples, buttholes and vaginas as sexual activity. See our deep dive into the sexualisation of young people on Meta:

First off, I’ve copied this post and sent it as an email to the relevant ministers, in Wales and nationally, and to Nick Clegg who is doing rather well, now VP of FB. I’ve also copied in local and national press. I expect zero action or response from any.
